REFRIGERATION

With over a decade's expertise in free-standing, standard and custom made refrigerated cabinets, we have built up an enviable portfolio of clients – from commercial and hospitality users, to architects designing upmarket homes for their discerning clients.

Our standard refrigerated cabinets for the catering industry are constructed from stainless steel and Chromadek® pre-painted hot-dip galvanised or electro-galvanised steel sheet. These can be made to specific dimensions. Many optional extras are available.

Quality and performance
We manufacture to exact specifications where we cut/punch, bend, weld and assemble our stainless steel and mild steel products to CNC tolerances. There is no compromise – neither in craftsmanship nor in materials. Our Amada production line is a well-maintained line-up of top-end machinery and tools, operated by our skilled staff.

All components that require insulation are laminated with high strength adhesives. That's because a laminated profile is stronger than a foamed in-situ one. We choose polystyrene as insulating medium because the insulating properties of polystyrene are always guaranteed to perform. Also, far fewer hazardous chemicals are used in the process. We recycle our polystyrene off-cuts, so wastage is kept to a minimum, benefiting the environment.

Our refrigeration components are designed to operate on ozone friendly refrigerants such as R134A, R404 and R507.

Components are sourced from established companies such as AC+R, RECO, Metraclark and MACS refrigeration.

All our refrigeration systems incorporate an electronic controller with clear digital LED display and timed defrost intervals, so you know the status of your refrigeration with pinpoint accuracy.

Custom built
We manufacture display fridges or deli counters, or any application where bespoke looks as well as high performance and hygiene are required. Metnor offers custom designed refrigerated units, arrays of units and a range of solutions, including:

• High end custom built kitchen/wine chillers featuring glass doors in in a seamless stainless steel framework, with various options of shelving, drawers and lighting.
• Super-cold granite counter tops with sneeze guard (Polar Tops).
